So I had this brilliant idea this morning... and after thinking about it I am sure it's been mentioned before by others.. or maybe I dreamt it before? lol Who knows.. but why aren't we sending the men sitting in prison waiting to die over seas to fight for our freedom instead of paying for them to sit in jail until it's time for them to die? or get back on the streets just to do the crime all over again? Actually it came to me when on the news this morning they were talking about the death of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and then in the next story were talking about someone being arrested and the light bulb went "bing". Which then the thought goes to WHY do we have to see his ugly dead face plastered all over the darn place? I'm trying to eat breakfast and they start showing pics.. COME ON PEOPLE eating here... could we have some kind of warning huh? I know it's kind of deep thinking for so early on a Monday morning and I usually don't write about politics etc. but it's something that makes a person wonder ya know... why not utilize the inmates? They aren't doing anything anyway... right?
