I'm too busy

I know I have wondered this before, but since I have not discovered the answer to my question I am still wondering why some people even bother to join dating sites. In the past few weeks I have become acquainted with several men. Two of them are really nice...the kind of men I'd like to hang out with and get to know better. The kind of men who keep asking when I am available for dates etc... unfortunately they are also the kind of men who do not follow through on calling. EXAMPLE: Today I went to cut my grass and found that my weed eater was missing from my shed. So I picked up the phone and called my friend Guido. Seems he "borrowed" it without telling me. I had to drive to his house to pick it up... because he was too busy, he didn't have the time to bring it to me. As I was leaving his house, he says "I'll call you and maybe we can do something". I've heard that line one too many times from him. It's to the point now that I just say, "yea whatever" because I am tired of expecting him to call but he doesn't. Then when I see him again he always gives me an excuse about how busy he was. If you don't want to call me don't say you will. If you say you are going to call me... Then CALL ME!!!! NO EXCUSES!!!!! He did this same thing a few weeks ago and when I said I had plans he was all hurt and made the comment "I never see what's right in front of me until it's too late". WELL WAKE UP I am right here and you can't see it..... until I get tired of waiting around and move on to someone who doesn't have a list of things to do before me. I never said I had to be first all of the time. But once in a while would be nice. If you can't do that then don't waste my time. I think that's fair... don't you? He's not the only man that had done that either. So guys... on dating sites... who claim they want someone to share their lives with but NEVER HAVE THE TIME to meet you, or call you because they are working or busy. Why even join??? Why even waste our time??? Why give us the "I'll call you" line if you aren't? Do you think we are stupid enough to actually believe that line??? (Hey Rein.... did I ask enough questions? lol) Well if someone can explain the reasoning behind this behavior I'd be happy to listen.
