Ever wonder sometimes why certain people are still single? I am sure you have probably wondered that about yourself from time to time.
This morning I was SO lucky to have someone I talk from time to time on yahoo messenger contact me to see how I have been.
Now this man first contacted me several years ago on another dating site... acted interested but never made a move to meet me so.... I moved on.
It's been like that ever since we first started talking.
He will disappear for months.. then come back and pop in to see how I am and to ask "If I have found anyone?"
Didn't know Anyone was lost so I haven't been looking? LOL
Anyway, because I am really getting kind of tired of this game I have decided that the next time he asks I am going to tell him that I am involved whether it was true or not. (at the moment it's true! )
It's not that I don't like this person, but if he were truly interested he would have made some kind of move by now instead of coming up with excuses for not being around...
Well I just got my opportunity to tell him .... I was so excited!
Conversation:
Him: Hi, miss you
Me: hi
Him: How have you been?
Me: great, you?
Him: ok, starting new job Monday
Me: that's cool
Him: love life?
Me: great, yours?
Him: ok
Him: so you've found someone?
Me: YEP!
Him: oh, guess I lost out again
Him: who?
Me: ex boyfriend
Him: well he's an ex for a reason so I am sure that won't last long
Me: I guess that's why you are still alone! Good Bye !
Now I am not usually nasty towards people that I have talked to and formed some kind of a relationship with.
But..... If you give me a reason, like cutting me down because I am giving my ex another chance then yeah I am going to be nasty.
If you have no clue what the situation is... how can you voice an opinion? No it might not work... but I won't know that until I give it another try. What is wrong with giving it another try?
I bet there's many people on here that would be more then happy to give their marriage another chance... just as I am sure many would say no way.
That's our choice.
So don't judge me for giving someone another chance that you don't think deserves it.. because really who's to say who deserves it and who doesn't?
Don't you get a new chance everyday you wake up to live your life better then the day before? God forgives you and cleans the slate so that you have chance after chance after chance to make it right. Shouldn't we imitate God?
So please don't waste my time telling me what I am doing is stupid or not right or isn't going to work. You have the right to your own opinion but don't judge me for what I am doing in my personal life ... and I won't judge you. K?
