Just some more random thoughts

Why is it some people just can't seem to follow through and do what they say they are going to do? Is it really that difficult to pick up the phone, punch in a few numbers, and it's all about speed dial these days so it's even fewer numbers, and call when you say you are going to call? If you can't call when you say you are going to call wouldn't it be polite to call as soon as you had a chance to call? And what really is an exceptible amount of time? Certainly not days. If you made plans to help someone move and at the last minute you had an emergency, wouldn't you call the person you were supposed to help move and let them know? What if you are sick and can't make it into work? Don't you call and let them know that you aren't going to be in? So why does a simple phone call cause so many problems for so many people? Is it that they just don't care? Is it that they just have no manners? Or they just don't stop and think about how that ONE SIMPLE VERY EASY could make a HUGE difference in a relationship? Seriously what is it that makes a person not follow through and do what they say they are going to? Why do so many woman sit by the phone waiting for the man to call that said he was going to and DOESN'T? What makes us do these stupid things? Why is it when I'm in the grocery store and everyone is cutting in front of me I feel compelled to say "excuse me"? Why is it that some people just never say "Excuse me" or "I'm Sorry"? Is it just the way they were brought up? Or is it just the lack of respect for each other and ourselves? Why is it that kids today expect to be handed everything and never be expected to work for it? Why is it that when you suggest a child clean their room they look at you like you have three heads? Why is it that everyone wants something from you but they never offer to give in return? Why is it that all these things have been going through my head today instead of something that would be useful or exciting? I'll tell ya... it's been a very hellish week for me. I am glad it's the weekend but now I will have WAY too much time to think about things. Sometimes thinking is good. But lately when I think it justs gets me into trouble and it makes my head hurt!
